I've seen he is day to day with a bruised rig cage, anybody know anything more? Like is he expected to go today?

I'm not sure if he'll go tonight but I know it's not serious. Hurt his side area while diving for a ground ball opening night at PNC park.

He was in the lineup for tonight's game against LA but hurt his back and left the game. Craig Wilson came in to replace him.

PITTSBURGH -- Pirates first baseman Sean Casey was taken to the hospital on Thursday night with a back injury after catching an elbow in the back during a third inning collision at first base with Cubs infielder John Mabry.

Apparently, he has reaggravated his rib cage and is having back spasms.

Down goes the Mayor. Is there a Craig Wilson sighting?
April 14 Sean Casey returned from his bruised left rib cage on Friday, but he was forced from the game after aggravating the injury in the third inning, according to the AP. He hurt himself while fielding a throw and needed help getting off the field. It appears likely that he'll miss some more time.

according to roto world casey on dl

Pirates placed first baseman Sean Casey on the 15-day disabled
list with two fractures of the transverse process in his left lower back.
Casey is expected to miss six to eight weeks with the injury, which will not require surgery. Since Brad Eldred remains in Triple-A, Craig Wilson will be the Pirates' everyday first baseman until Casey returns. The Pirates will get better offensively with the switch, and Wilson should have value in shallow mixed leagues until Casey returns. Apr. 15 - 1:39 pm et
