He had a bad May last season .234 AVG, but the rest of the months of the year he tore it up and was hitting a .272 or better AVG. What's with the .240 for most of last season stuff?
Too early to be worried. Not only that, but we're talking about Manny Ramirez! It's not some no name that came out of nowhere last year, or anything. Lol.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
If worse comes to worst, flipping Manny and Papi in the order should kick start the ManRam. There can only be one protector, and one protectee at a time

I generally never worry about my players that I drafted in the first 2 round. They're all studs and turn it around.
...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike

My thoughts exactly. To be concerned about Manny after 30 ABs is completely ridiculous. This is a guy who's season lows since 1998 are .292, 30 2B, 33 HR, 104 RBI...so even if he somehow matches the worst numbers he's put up in any year since 1998 you've still got a top player.
These "the sky is falling" threads are getting old. In the last couple of days there's been threads started by people concerned about Manny, Teixeira, Crawford, Bay, Ichiro, and Santana (among many, many others)...can't we wait at least 75 ABs before we rush to judgement?

Didn't have the #s in front of me and was making the point that this was said last year too.
