TEXAS SECOND BASEMAN IAN KINSLER LEFT THE GAME IN THE BOTTOM OF THE SECOND INNING WITH A LEFT THUMB INJURY.

Apparently it's a thumb injury. I don't know how serious it is.

I hope it's not bad. I just grabbed the guy yesterday. :-/

Ian Kinsler will likely go on the disabled list after suffering a dislocated left thumb in Tuesday's game against the Angels.
A tough break for the rookie, but assuming that there's no ligament damage, he probably won't be sidelined too far into May with the injury. Mark DeRosa and D'Angelo Jimenez will share time at second base until Kinsler returns. Jimenez certainly has the most fantasy upside of the two, but DeRosa will probably get the majority of the time once he's 100 percent. Both should have a little value in AL-only leagues.
