Trying to expand my team selection for sig :-b

Image

I understand that Josh Beckett is a hot commodity as far as sigs go, so it's free to anyone that wants it.

BTW: I am not to fond of the image quality of the vocal point pic, any suggestions on how to enhance it?

Also was thinking I should prolly blend it some what do you think?

I don't follow what you mean by poor image quality. Of what? Looks nice to me. ;-D

And yes, I would blend in the pic. It would go well w/ the bg.

Alright so I copied the Beckett pic turned the original Beckett pic to "luminosity" then put the copy over it and set it to "Overlay".

Does it look good/better?

One thing you may want to do is take your original before you copy the layers and blend them is to just touch up the edges with either a soft eraser or load selection>feather. That way when you copy a layer and blend it, your edges won't be so prominent around his arm and neck. Otherwise you're definately getting the hang of it, isn't photoshop great? ;)

Try Desaturating the pic of the face on the left, and see how that looks. I think the color from the background will look a lot nicer, then. ;-D Maybe lower the saturation on the main pic a bit, so the color still shows, but it doesn't look like he got a wicked sunburn :-D

I still don't like the brush choice.... but I just have to download more and mess around to fix that.

It's better but now I don't like the text over his face. :-o

And also here's something I might try, just personally, you don't have to.

Take the main pic on the left, duplicate it, put the copy behind and put a small motion blur or gaussian blur on it. Sometimes that blends it in a little.
Or try doing what Wicked said and select the pic on the left, put a 5 or so pixel feather on it invert the selection and delete.

Just suggestions. It's cool the way it is. B-)
