I have heard many people say he will be running alot less this year, which will obviously hurt his value tremendously. Is this a cause for concern or just a rumor?

I think its a cause of concern, he said it himself that hes focusing on picking spots rather than stealing every chance he gets

Wasnt he quoted saying he wanted to be the #1 fantasy player? Picking spots to steal wont help him much in that regard.

Yes, I remember reading that in several articles, so I wouldn't be too concerned about Crawford just yet. B-)

I traded H. Mats for him last year which the cafe agreed with. He definitly didn't do as well as H. Mats and now I cry myself to sleep every night

Apr 9 Ian Harrison, of DevilRays.MLB.com, reports Tampa Bay Devil Rays OF Carl Crawford said he is trying to pick his spots more this 2006 season when it comes to steals. Crawford said, "In the past I've always run just to be running. You want to be a smart runner, you don't want to be a guy who gets on and runs every time. I'd rather be safe 30 out of 30 times than have 50 bags and be caught 20 times."
