How will his injury hurt owners? In your opinion(s), when is he likely to be effective (i.e., return from injury AND have regular quality outings), if at all?

Thats an opinion. Mac will be in the mix for saves if he comes back 100%. Burgos has had control problems his entire career and doesnt seem to have the closer mentality.

Thanks for clarification. Naturally, I'd assume MacDougal wouldn't be passed over if/when healthy unless Burgos turned out to be amazing. Also, I noticed that on the official KC team page they have designated Burgos as the CL on their depth chart (under roster tab). Guess their webmaster is on the ball.

Burgos kinda sucks, they'll go back to Macdougal when he comes back, his shoulder strain isn't as bad as they thought it was at first, it's one of those things you just need to rest, and once he shakes off the rust and stuff, he'll probably be good for like 20-25 saves
