Can we expect him to keep the closer job in Detroit or is old man Todd Jones going to retake the role once he is off the DL?

with the money they are giving Jones, I'm pretty sure he'll get his job back when he comes off the DL.

With the way Rodney is pitching, any chance a team may try to acquire him as a closer? He had decent numbers as a MR in 2005 and is proving he can handle the closer's role in 2006.

i guess it's possible, but he's never been what i would call lights out. i dont see the Tigers trading him either unless they get a great deal, and i dont think Rodney warrants that
id have to agree with that but who knows. Rodney pitched pretty well in the closer role over a couple short stints last year, if my memory serves. I have Jones/Rodney in one league and picked Rodney up when a Jones manager failed to pick him up. I might hold onto Rodney for a while in my large roster 12 team league just in case.
