yea, you got to get somebody in the outfield w/ some power. try to trade colon for an outfielder. hes not real great this year, but chances are somebody will pay for him. if you want to beef up your starting pitching after losing him, i would suggest runelvys hernandez of the royals. we pitched real nice early in the year, got hurt, came back and made one start before the break. looked pretty good in that outing, and i think he'll be back for a nice 2nd half, and should help you w/ your wins, since thats about the only place you need help w/ in your pitching stats. you have a nice looking team though.

Definately get some power in your lineup. Wells and Beltran are good, but see if you can pry Sheffield away, or Chipper. They should both have good finishes.

Damon

Postby #9RIP » Tue Jul 29, 2003 8:48 pm

Im a big Sox fan, but get rid of Johnny Damon for like anything you can get. He has been really aweful for the past 2 seasons, except for his all star half season in 2002. And his stats are still declining. You never know, people who arent avid baseball followers might recognize his name and help you out. :-t
