Who's Jason Smith?

This guy just hit 2 homers off of Peavy in San Diego! What is his story?

He has some major league experience with the Tigers, but I think he was kind of a journeyman throughout his career.

Came to Rockies ST and hit .350, basically made the team because of that and injuries.

The way he is hitting he won't be sent back down. Possible platoon with LuGo could happen.

And he can play 1B, 2B, SS, and 3B.

He could be this years Barmes, without the injury, hopefully!
By the way, I stand corrected. He only hit one homer off of Peavy, the other was a middle relief pitcher.
