Has a jammed finger. Adam Stern is leading and playing centerfield today.
He hurt it yesturday sliding into third, he stayed in the game.
This doesn't seem to be a long term problem. But watch him closely.
"I do not think baseball of today is any better than it was 30 years ago... I still think Radbourne is the greatest of the pitchers." John Sullivan 1914-Old athletes never change.

He can close his fist. He's fine. It's just swollen.

Could be more serious. The Red Sox have not confirmed, but WHDH-TV in Boston reported on Sunday evening that he could miss up to one month as the result of a broken knuckle in his left index finger.

I'm screwed if thats the case. No outfield depth on my team.

He'd better not. If so, this will be the worst 1st week I could imagine with Lugo, Gagne, CC, and now Crisp going down.

Reports indicate the diagnosis was by an Os doctor in Camden Yards.
