New to Fantasy - My First Team - Advice for a Noob?

Postby BecknPaps » Sun Apr 09, 2006 12:12 pm

I'm in a (beginners) 4 team Yahoo AL Rotisserie League. I'm just learning how this all works and would dig some guidance/advice. Much appreciated! I'll try and respond to your posts with my limited knowledge, but hey, a unjaded fresh persepctive cant hurt!

Roster Positions: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, OF, OF, OF, Util, SP, SP, RP, RP, P, P, P, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, DL
Stat Categories: R, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, W, SV, K, ERA, WHIP

C: J. Varitek
1B: J. Thome
2B: J. Cantu
3B: A. Rodriguez
SS: M. Young
OF: C. Crisp
OF: G. Scheffeild
OF: G. Sizemore
UTIL: R. Ibanez
BN: M. Loretta
BN: M. Lowell
BN: S. Stewart
BN: R. Sexson
DL: J. Lugo

SP: B. Colon
SP: C. Schilling
SP: F. Garcia
SP: R. Halladay
RP: D. Haren
RP: E. Guardado
RP: F. Cordero
BN: A. Burnett

I need closing help and run scoring help I think. O. Cabrerra is still out there and was considering trading Cantu for Nathan (a dude in my league is obsessed with Cantu) and adding O-Cab to compensate for some of the runs lost from losing Cantu... just a thought.

Thanks for any input!
