I love a lot of what I've seen beyond just the record, but I still want to see them face a real team. The Rangers are not a good team, especially their pitching and the Royals are just plain awful. That said, from what I've seen, I see no reason the Tigers will suddenly shrivel up versus the good teams. I don't want to say too much positive or too much negative as I tend to be a bit superstitious, so I'll leave it at that.

Well said, but VS. the Rangers and The Royals last year we couldnt even claim we won the series. This year we might sweep both. Major improvement.

Sadly, I can envision them shriveling. They come home to a cold park with the pressure of being at home against their two top rivals if they want to measure up. It should be a great challenge for them. The White Sux aren't playing well, but the Injuns later in the week are. Should be a good measuring stick to see what this team is made of.

Of course regardless of what they do, it is still very early to pass any judgements on this team.
