I don't remember where I saw that so I don't have the link.

I'm relatively new to the cafe - I notice there are a lot of links provided and asked for (and that's cool) but is the reason because there a lot of bogus info being thrown around here?

No, generally most if not all the info I have seen is valid stuff. Not an issue that I have noticed. However, a link brings added validity to the statement and also makes it 100 percent legit. I guess it is the way it's always been done here, and that is a good thing to keep on doing.

Sometimes guys will post that they heard something on sports tv or radio and you just gotta take their word for it and decide for yourself how valid it is.

Glad to have ya at the cafe ;-D

LOS ANGELES ANGELS

Kelvim Escobar, who cracked his right middle fingernail on Friday, said he possibly could take his turn Wednesday after playing catch without pain. Hector Carrasco, who pitched two innings Sunday, is the likely candidate to start if Escobar can't pitch.

As per Rotoworld:

"Kelvim Escobar had the nail on the middle finger of his right hand filed down and will make his scheduled start Wednesday against the Rangers."

"Escobar hasn't tested the finger with a bullpen session, but he did play catch on Monday. "I feel good; I don't feel any pain," he said. "To be honest, I don't want to miss any games. I feel so good. I want to get out there every five days." Mixed leaguers still might want to bench Escobar, as the Rangers would be a tough assignment even if was completely healthy."

I still might gamble and start Escobar

I think I'm doing it. I don't have a ton of starts this week, and it's not as if the Yankees were "easy".

Texas hasn't exactly been knocking the cover off the ball this year and they are playing at Anahiem, I'm starting him.

I am not a big fan of situations like these. I have Tex and Blalock going against him tomorrow. But, the same holds true for E Santana too...ugh.
