Newb here.... Just traded Soriano straight up for Pujols? Good deal?
Or do you think it is just a wash... So now I need a 2B...

I am playing in a head to head league w/ six teams so we are all pretty stacked to one degree or another.

My Team looks like this

c- Varitek
1B- Giambi, Sexon
2B- Empty
3B- Glaus, Pujols, Blalock
SS- Furcal, Mora
LF- Jenkins, Matsui
CF- Beltran, Patterson DL
RF- Everett

Pitching:

SP- Clemens, Prior, Willis, Piniero
RP- Urbina, MacDougal, Worrell, Redman

Just trying to make some allstar break moves... I am in third 10.5 games back and second place is 9 back. Thanks for any help...

Oh Also I have a couple of trades proposed....

Giambi/Blalock for Mike Lowell (already rej. Gia 4 Lowell straight up)

and

Everett for Shawn Green

Most people would tell you that Soriano is the most valuable player in fantasy baseball. I think Puljos is. Puljos doesn't get any steals, but I dont care. I dont think you did real good with that trade. Now you have three 3rd baseman. I would trade Glaus, for someone like vidro. Bench Everett and put Puljos in the outfield. Everett has been awful as late.

two name that stand out at 2nd base are blum of houston and kata of arizona.(short tern until spivey comes back..but he sure can hit)

You could try to trade one of your pitchers for a decent second basemen. Jeff Kent is just getting of the dl and he might get hot in the second half, but most people are probably willing to trade for him. To recover from your lost pitcher, pick up Jeriome Williams. He has not given up a earned run in 3 starts and has the giants offense to help him. (not that he needs it, his era is in the 2's)

try to get some help at pitching by dealing one of ur many 3rd basemen. u should be able to get a good SP or closer in a package deal.
