What the hell does this mean?

Apr 6 Mike Scarr, of Angels.MLB.com, reports Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim manager Mike Scioscia will continue to shift his left and middle infield around, depending on the pitcher, in order to get the best lineups without sacrificing defense. Scioscia currently has four infielders at his disposal; 3B Chone Figgins, 3B Edgardo Alfonzo, 2B Adam Kennedy and IF Macier Izturis.

Figgens is still an everyday player right? Just wanting to double check...

He's gotta be an everyday player. Heck, he can play anywhere.

Figgins flexibility lets Scioscia choose to play Alfonzo, Kennedy or Izturis at their more comfortable positions and let Figgins take the position that the other guys don't. Figgins stays in the lineup unless Scioscia feels he just needs a night off.

This is good news for people in keeper leagues as it sounds like Figgins will most likely end up at least 2b/3b next year if not 2b/3b/of again.

He needs to start 5 times for O-Cab. Then, I'd be happy.

figgins will be in everyday. only reason scioscia switched up the infield is because kennedy had two bad days in the field against seattle. should be pretty consistent with kotchman, kennedy, cabrera, figgins.
