With the Red Sox holding a one run lead against the Rangers,
Jon Papelbon was called upon to close the game. He retired all three batters he faced, striking out two, to earn his first career save.
That manager Terry Francona has already elected to go with Papelbon in a save situation is telling. He should be claimed in all formats where he's still available, as this is not a good sign for Keith Foulke's health.
