Is this guy going to put it back together this year? He’s nearly healthy and will have the best offense in the league supporting him.

I see big things on the horizon to the tune of a 14-6 record with 120Ks in 150 IP and a 3.75 ERA. ;-D

Your thoughts?

The Yankee lineup isn't going to make him pitch any better.

I can't see Pavano, who has a career ERA of 4.27 over the course of 7 MLB seasons, suddenly dropping his ERA down to 3.75, an area he's been only twice in his career. I don't see him keeping his ERA under 4.00, nor do I see his WHIP being below 1.40. 120 K's is a possibility, which he could even exceed if he throws enough innings, but I can't see him winning more than 12 games (he only has once in his career), or holding opposing batters under .280

All in all, he's not a viable fantasy option in most leagues, in my opinion.

Stay far away. Anything is possible, but this guy is a head case and a loser imo...that is in between finding new ways to get himself on the DL.

Last thing I read on Pavano is that he might need surgery and because of his serious back problems, it might be season ending...

I wouldn't recommend going after him right now.
