Well, at first glance, it looks like your team is going to be challenged in the batting average and SBs department. Statistically, you onyl have a 20% chance to win the league if you punt a cat. SBs can be slightly easy to come by, however, players with high batting average are very tough to find.

Also, it looks like you have a glut of SPs. Those guys will kill your ratios and Cain, Westbrook and Duke are WW fodder.

You should try and get rid of those guys, either by way of trade, or outright release, and try to find a guy who fits the bill in the way of average and speed. A Wily Tavares might fit the bill, or Granderson , who has a nice power/speed combo and might fly under the radar. One last thing I noticed is that you have a shaky SV strategy. See if you can pick up a Burgos or Rodney in DET who might be in place to pick up some cheap saves...



Also, one piece of advice: You might want to tone down your "request" for thought on your team and chances...

Tone down my request? What the F does that mean? I thought we were all on here to help each other out and give advice.

Sorry for wanting everyone to help me out like I have helped them.

And I disagree about the batting average cat. I loked at everyone's teams in my league and I think I def have the highest Team avg.

But anyway.. thanks for your help even if I asked for it too much and you didn't want to give it to me.

Also Granderson is available but who would you drop to pick him up? Swisher?

I would definitely drop Clark and pick up Granderson. I think last year's stats are the highest Clark's gonna see...might as well gamble with Granderson.

The reason you aren't getting help is because it's so hard to analyze an 8x10 league...the majority of us play 4x4 or 5x5 leagues, so we're not familiar with other styles. I think those cats are geared toward SP though, so I wouldn't really worry about saves too much...I think you're okay on batting average also.
