i need some insight or i must be mistaken because beckett pitching in the 9th is awful weird.

in a strange turn of events, looks like we all guessed wrong, it won't be u2 or looper closing but...Josh Beckett???

seriously though, I have no idea why he pitched...maybe to get him a lil game time since the all-star break is coming up, and he was out for so long?

Good God you two need to relax!!!

Flordia was down 7-1 when Beckett came in for the 8th inning. It was not a save situation. Why are you so worked up?

Probably just to get some game time due to the All-Star break. I wouldn't worry about it.

It's no big deal, the just decided to have Dontrelle pitch tomorrow since he was fully rested and gave Beckett some bullpen work to keep him busy since he won't have another start until after the all star break.
