I bought a laptop

Yes against all my previous rants I bought a Dell Laptop.

It rules

I got a Inspiron 9300 w/ 17" True Life 1900 x 1200 Display.

It owns

1.8 ghz Pentium M w/ 2mb L2 Cache
100 gig HD @ 5400 rpm's (Slow but I can't tell the difference)
Go 6800 Graphics card that owns.
1 Gig of ram. Just bought 2 gigs from New Egg though.
TV tuner and Media Center so I can record live TV!!

The monitor is the coolest thing ever.

Its Dell's True Life technology. Basically the best way to explain it is that the screen rather then having a matted look to it looks like glass.

So if you put a fish tank screen saver up it actually looks like their are fish swimming around.

It rules

Far Cry, Quake 4, and BF2 look amazing even at lower resolutions!

It was a refurb and i got it for 1440.

The only problem is that Dell loads their Systems down with every software ever.

That kinda sucks but oh well.
