I dropped Wily Mo for him. Since the season started, I remembered how much I hate having players on my team that don't play every day, no matter what their potential. I figure maybe he can keep this up for a couple weeks and I can move him when he's at his highest, or he goes 0 fer his next 20 and I drop him for somebody else.

Who were you going to replace?
I probably wasn't going to pick up Boone, but was wondering peoples thoughts. If I had to it would have been Chris Shelton or David Eckstein, it would have been those two. But I don't really need 3B help, would have been a backup.
I really think Chris Shelton is for real. He had Jonny Gomes type production last year without the fanfare.
Just to clarify, I am no in love with the fact that he is off to a good start. He hit a better than average .299, and in 388 BA, he hit 18 homers. If he continues to hit well, I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the 3 hole in DET. I-Rod is there in name only and would be better lower in the lineup.

I never had any faith in A. Boone. Sure enough some people in my leagues have already picked him up, even with the transaction limits.
