What in god's name is Aaron Boone doing?

Flash in the pan, or potential sticking like glue? He is 4-4 again today with a homerun. Some around here have suggested that Boone may be ready to return to form, however can we expect a breakout season. I'm normally one to get all giddy after a couple games, but he could be worth a flier. Does anyone have faith?

Posted Sept 20, 2005,

*Sleeper alert*

Aaron Boone. This guy is a lock for .280, 25 HR and 10 steals next year.

I still think that's where he finishes 2006.

I'll always have faith in Aaron [mod edit: it may seem like a small thing to some but for the last time everybody, NO SWEARING, even with wildcards] Boone.

I probably wasn't going to pick up Boone, but was wondering peoples thoughts. If I had to it would have been Chris Shelton or David Eckstein, it would have been those two. But I don't really need 3B help, would have been a backup.

return to form? you have to have form in the first place in order to return to it. if boone were 2b eligible like he was in the old days, he would be interesting. he isnt too interesting as a 3b. not enough power, and not enough speed to overcome his lack of power.

Hopefully he'll get bumped up in the batting order.

25-25 is his ceiling. Very productive as a backup 3B. Comeback Player of the Year candidate.
Bold Predictions:

Grady Sizemore will have more value than Jason Bay regardless of draft position

Aramis Ramirez in 155 G will hit over .300 40 HR 110 RBIs

Brian McCann will have more value than Jorge Posada regardless of draft position
