Wherefore art thou, Ryan Doumit?

I thought he was going to be given the first crack as starting catcher for the Pirates, but yesterday Cota started. Anyone know if Cota's the man now? Is Doumit at the very least gonna split time with him? Thanks!

I can probably help you with this one.......

Cota is basically Oliver Perez personal catcher, (Mexican connection)

But you will also see Cota relieving Doumit late in games, defensive purposes, until Doumit (no mit) gets his "D" straighten out.....

I say its a 60-40 split. favouring Doumit.
