Bobby Crosby was removed from Monday night's game after four innings with a bruised left hand.

yea that sucks..hes my only SS...he was bleeding earlier from getting spiked by cano..hopefully he wont miss any games..this guys is supposed to be MVP according to the espn guys..

Crosby was scheduled for X-rays and an examination by team doctor Jerrald Goldman on Tuesday.

"It's cut pretty good," manager Ken Macha said. "If I had to guess he probably won't play tomorrow. I hope it's only tomorrow."

damn it, on the first day of the season...

Such a fluke injury though. Can't really say this is an example of him being injury "prone". Hopefully he can come back by the end of the week.

I own Lugo, who was injured yesterday also... I picked up Crosby from the FA in my league to replace Lugo... and BANG... this hand injury...

News: Bobby Crosby, whose finger was bloodied and bruised by the cleats of Robinson Cano while tagging him out on a stolen base attempt, will be examined Tuesday by Dr. Jerrald R. Goldman and most likely will not play Tuesday night, according to A's manager Ken Macha.
