MLB Gameday Audio

Postby squawkya24 » Tue Apr 04, 2006 12:05 am

Any other users here? I just picked it up tonight as the site was too busy to order during the day. I'm really looking forward to it as now I will be able to listen to all of my Mariners games down here in Texas. And the great thing is I can listen to the games while keeping up to date with my fantasy stats with Gameday. And it only costs 15 bucks compared to the steep 80 dollars of MLB.TV. Anybody else here think that the gameday audio is a better deal than MLB.TV?

Yes, I do. I know some in here are huge mlb.tv fans and I'm not knocking that, but the main reason I get Gameday Audio is to listen to Cubs games at work. I can't exactly watch games at work so the audio is just fine. Plus when I'm at home the Cubs games are on tv for pretty much every game except for a few broadcasts so I have no need to watch them on my computer anyway. Plus the $14.99 is a bargain.

If I was a fan of a different team like say Philadelphia and I was living in California, then mlb.tv might be nice to have in order to watch some games at home, but for what I need its just not worth it.

I have MLB Streaming Audio, MLB Streaming Video, and XM Radio with MLB.

It rules.

I have Radio for work and the card and video for home.

Rule!

I've subscribed to it each year since I moved away from the bay area and my Giants, in my opinion its worth way more than the $15 it costs!!!! and no blackouts...

Also a big ;-D to the new scoreboard they have in the Gameday Audio window. I get up from my desk periodically and its nice to be able to check that for the score rather than having to keep another browser window open.

The second best $15 you can spend. Besides the $10 for StatTracker. :-D

Yeah I am really enjoying it. Love listening to the M's games and other games with my players in them too.

My friend had it last year and I realized $15 is a great deal for it so I bought it for this year. I'm sure I'll get my money's worth. ;-D
