This is news to me. I don't know how seriously to take it.
Jeremy Giambi is scheduled to conclude his rehab stint with the Triple-A Pawtucket today.
That doesn't necessarily mean he'll be activated tomorrow, but if the Red Sox are really thinking of trading Trot Nixon, then they can't afford to let Giambi go. Giambi has hit .258 with one homer, four doubles and seven walks in 31 at-bats for Patwucket.
I guess I don't know what to make of it...
