There are probably a dozen Metallica songs that would bring down the walls at Shea.

Hmmm..... :-? LOL.

They were saying that Wagner was raised by Metallica roadies and that he's a huge fan. It is just a song.

I'd switch it to either Hit the Lights, Seek & Destroy or Master of Puppets. But that's just me.
What are you guys doing?

im a white sox fan yankee hater, i mean despise the yanks, but i live in NY , i mean every baseball fan knows MO has been using that for the last decade & its a big time thing, I would think The Mets orginization would say "hey billy lets use another song for PR purposes & to avoid headached, mets have a good team headed in the right direction why start some controversy ??

it will be interesting to see if Wagner keeps it or not from now on

What a stupid thing for people to get upset about. If I was Wagner I'd have 'em play Metallica's cover of 'So What' for my next appearance to let the fans know how I feel.

Wagner and Rivera started using Enter Sandman the SAME YEAR. Mike and the Mad Dog will just have to get used to it because it's his song. They have nothing better to talk about on opening day? :-)

I would select Fuel if I had to pick a Metallica song.

I heard that too. That is a huge connection to the band but I still do not think he should use it. All good songs. Check out this link for a few more suggestions.

But they already finished talking about how Soriano was safe. ;-)

What will happen when the Yankees and Mets play each other?

"Bottom of the 9th, Mets up by 2, uh oh, 'Enter Sandman', here comes Wagner...wait, somebody's running out of the Yankee bullpen...it's Mariano Rivera!!" :-D ;-D

If Wagner wants to be compared to Mo....feel free.

It will be most entertaining when they flash Wagner's post-season numbers on the board.

0-4 with a 7.71 ERA

Maybe he should try to compare himself to another infamous choke artist instead and use his theme...we all know who I am referring to.
