Rays' Lugo suffers oblique strain
Julio Lugo - SS - TB - Apr. 3 - 4:46 pm et
Julio Lugo left Monday's game in the bottom of the third inning with a left oblique strain.
We'll take the blame for jinxing Lugo when Luis Ordaz was picked over Russell Branyan for the roster. If Lugo is going to require a DL stint, the Rays should turn to B.J. Upton at shortstop. Ordaz is strictly a one- or two-day fill in, and Nick Green's not much more. Apr. 3 - 4:46 pm et

I went ahead and grabbed Upton just in case. Luckily I had someone disposable sitting on my bench.

Reading the St Pete times today it didn't sound like Lugos injury was that bad. The Rays are off Tuesday and they will play Ordaz at short if his heel is better or Nick Green for the short term.

Sounds like it is not much. I read that he it is "uncertain if he can play on Wed", which sounds to me like it is day-to-day.
