Apr 16 Tampa Bay Devil Rays SS Julio Lugo (abdomen) could play in extended spring training games later this week, according to the Associated Press. He is expected to rejoin the team during a series against the New York Yankees beginning Tuesday, April 25.

Hate these injuries... where the date he is coming back just gets a little later and a little later each time they post something about him. It couldn't happen in a worse position for me either. I'm okay everywhere else as far as backups go. But my backup 2B, SS is Mark Ellis, and he has been stinking pretty badly so far. I really thought he was going to be better than this. Maybe I should think about trying to make a trade....

in my one league that i actually drafted lugo, i grabbed hardy off fa wire.
though ramirez looks better and better.

the good thing is, almost all my leagues someone dropped lugo, so i snagged him and hid him on the dl

I grabbed JJ Hardy to cover for Lugo and will find it hard dropping him when Lugo gets back. He's been good to me.

I did that too, in a couple of my leagues, I have Reyes and Figgins too, so I should shore up the steals category

Yeah me too so I have elected to not pick him up and just wait out Lugo, it's a Roto league and I can't afford the hit in AVG and OBA that he brings but I feel your pain.
