9 team roto league.

Standard cats + hits, OPS, outs and K/BB. I was one of the few teams to prerank and I think I did remarkably well all in all:

C J. Varitek
1B T. Helton
2B C. Utley
3B E. Chávez
SS J. Lugo
OF M. Ramírez
OF C. Crawford
OF C. Beltrán
Util M. Giles
BN W. Taveras
BN J. Gomes
BN N. Garciaparra
BN R. Belliard

SP F. Hernández
SP J. Garland
RP B. Lidge
RP C. Cordero
P T. Hoffman
P L. Hernández
P T. Gordon
BN J. Borowski
BN J. Weaver

What do you think? I've never played in a 9 team league before but I couldn't believe my offense lol. Seems I could definitely use at least 1 more really solid SP though, and I could probably do with shopping a good runner, like Lugo maybe, as I'll probably have overkill in the sb category.

Lugo's hurt. I'd trade Marcus Giles since Utley isn't going anywhere and he's basically Giles with loads more power and the same speed, then slide Taveras into your Utility slot. Then you'll really win SB.

I'd be scared as heck by your SP. You have question marks in Felix (plus they're limiting him to 180 innings) and Garland (who doesn't strike people out), and two average pitchers who eat up innings like Happy Meals. Your relief pitching is your strength since all 4 are established closers with lots of job security, so I would look to trade either Gordon or Cordero (who knows if he can repeat last year) to help out your starting pitching. Possibly package one of them with Giles for an ace. Also, if this is a 9 team league, there are bound to be better options on the FA market than Weaver and Livan. In my 12 team league, I picked up Westbrook who I consider around the same talent level as Weaver but who pitches in the same division as the Royals and Tigers (so that makes him way more valuable). Things like that. Hope that made sense.

Im guessing that this is roto and that it was an auto draft. Even with 9 team ur hitting is amazing. Although yes ur pitching is not the best. You have a bunch of closers and there is always som1 looking for one. I recomend shopping any1 but lidge for a SP. Look for som1 like Webb, Patterson, Lackey, Haren. All of these guy are poised for breakout years and are great power pitchers. Lugo is hurt and i wouldnt start Tavares even is he can SB. U can easliy compete with Beltran Utley and Crawford. How bout Moving Giles for a closer. He tends to be overated and you already have got pleanty of runs.

Thanks for the Help with my team
