Chavez is probably the ultimate example of slow starters. Another name that comes to mind is Rafael Furcal, as well as Andruw Jones...

Bobby Abreu and J. Thome have horrible April stats throughout their respective career's.

I believe Abreu had an above average April fantasy month last year though.

I believe, before last year, Derek Lee was a horrible starter.

geoff jenkins usually has a semi slow first half.. then post allstar break he goes on a tear.. definatly something to look into

True. I used that as the basis to justify trading him for Mariano Rivera the 3rd week of April.......................................................... last season.
He will probably revert back to his career form this year.
