any news on his proposed start? he could be good even at coors, since he posted a .125 ERA against the rockies at home this year.

No, Brown has been put on the DL today. However, the DL move is retroactive to his last start, meaning that he still would be eligible to pitch next Saturday or Sunday. He's also been replaced on the all star team.

Replaced by Willis. The right guy got in, but unfortunately the wrong guy is out. Too bad Brown is hurt, he was having an excellent first half.
