The whole situation is ridiculous and I feel sorry for Simon. Obviously he did it in jest. The victim isn't upset. Why does he need to be booked and fined? Secondly, why the hell does the MLB need to suspend him? How ridiculous is that? Did these people not watch the video? It was a soft tap on a big padded costume. Get over it!

you know... thats actually another reason to keep "corked bats" in the duggout? The wouldn't hurt as much.

I thought Simons punishment should have been to dress as a wienie, and then have to race those girls around the field. It would be even funnier when he loses. :-)

Good point wrveres. I think he shoud dress up as the italian sausage! As for tix to a (what did you call it DHC, "BrewHAHA" game) being a prize or a punishment...I'd say the way their playing it's more of a punishment. I also think another good punishment for Randall Simon would be a season ticket for the Brewers!
