CHICAGO: Mark Prior will have his right shoulder examined Saturday after colliding with Braves second baseman Marcus Giles in Friday's loss to the Braves. Prior stayed in the game, but said his shoulder stiffened up on him after an inning. Prior acknowledged that the injury could keep him out of the All-Star game. ``If it does, it does. That's not my main concern right now -- it's to make sure I'm healthy so I can come back after the All-Star game and pitch,'' he said. ...

Watching a pitcher try to hit is bad enough, but when he almost ruins his career running the bases it makes you wonder what the hell they are doing out there.

Prior can actually bat though. He DH'd and pinch hit when he was pitching in college.

He's batting .239 this season over 46 AB's
