Rate my team from 18 Team league

As stated in topic 18 team league, with competetive players drafted today, scoring is standard except we cound ops.
overall i dont think i did too bad, im weak at of.. but for an 18 team league i feel good about it. my last 3 picks i went with the rookies on my bench, there was nothing there, so i took the chance on one of them being a breakout.

Deep leagues are a totally differnt beast and for an 18 team league, your roster looks solid. The tough thing is covering for injuries and underachievers, as the waiver wire is typically quite slim (I know, having been in a 20 team 5x5 league).

Good infield and a solid outfield - Holliday could be huge and Gathright will get you sb's.

Gordon should be able to suceed as a closer and who knows, Burgos could lock it up for the entire season if he gets off to a strong start.

C. Young - I expect him to have a solid year in a pitchers park, Verlander is a solid keeper, and Bush had a great spring and has had pretty good numbers in spite of a poor 2005.

Overall, lots of potential and a solid team.

Pretty much what he said - For a deep league like that I think your Off will be fine. I too took Giambi, I expect him to have a great season - nice pickup!

I think its a good looking team overall, I picked up Gathright as well (last nite on the FA wire), and im just waiting for the SB's to come running in. Good luck and thank you for the input on my team.
