Sheets Back on DL

Man he hurt me last year, and he's now starting the season on DL. Why do I keep drafting this guy.

because he is one of the best pitchers out there not named Johan Santana. From what I have read he is doing ok and this is more of a precaution than anything. If I recall correctly he should only miss a few starts at most

They are just being very cautious right now. He had a session the other day if I'm not mistaken and they said he looks fine for the most part. I'll gladly have him miss a few starts in return for a healthy season. They said he should return in mid-April.

Updating a continuing story, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Tom Haudricourt reports Milwaukee Brewers SP Ben Sheets (back) will start a minor-league rehabilitation assignment Thursday, April 6. It will most likely be with Double-A Huntsville. Sheets has not suffered any setbacks thus far.

Every news report I have read say he is fine and just being cautious and if he doesn't suffer a setback he should be starting April 16th The same day Burnett returns I couldn't be happier my second and third pitchers coming back the same day and according to my calculations Oswalt is pitching that day to.

Sheets, who strained a muscle in his upper back in a spring training game March 9, will make a rehab start Thursday for Double-A Huntsville. The Brewers' ace is expected to throw 50 pitches. He went on the disabled list March 30, retroactive to March 24. He is eligible to come off the DL on April 8.
