"Cardinals outfielder John Rodriguez injured his troublesome left shoulder Friday when he crashed into a wall while tracking a ball into foul territory at Tradition Field. The extent of the damage will not be determined until this morning. The Cardinals' initial diagnosis was a shoulder strain."

Let's hope it's not serious. While I don't like platoon situations, I like the dyamic that the So JaguchiRod LF brings to the team.

Sucks that he is hurt but I never like the idea of giving J-Rod a lot of AB. He's horrible in the field and on the bases. Plus he regularly looks bad at the plate vs. a pitcher with a good offspeed pitch. I liked him coming off the bench vs. relievers who's main weapon is their fastball.
