Yahoo 5x5, roto, 12 team league

C- Barrett
1B- Berkman
2B- M Giles
3B- Rolen
SS- Young
OF- Crawford
OF- Dunn
OF- Gomes
UT- Konerko
Sub- Hall
Sub- P Wilson

SP- Patterson
SP- Haren
SP- C Young
SP- Escobar
SP- Loaiza
RP- Valverde
RP- Fuentes
RP- Gonzalez
RP- Weathers
RP- F Cabrera

I felt pretty bad after my first two picks (Crawford and Young) without any power or pitching. So I drafted Berkman and Dunn 3/4 because they qualify at 1B and OF, and I picked up Konerko in the fifth to solidify power and stick the managers who skipped 1B. I rather like the option to play four starting 1B. I'm not a big Weathers fan but I figured he was a good 20th rounder. I think Cabrera is a nice setup guy that could spell Wickman, but I forgot about Edwin Encarnacion who went undrafted.

Notable FA- E Encarnacion, F Thomas, J Jones, Baldelli, Sanders, OCab, Durham, N Johnson, Dellucci, Gibbons, Brown, Maddux, Byrd, Washburn, Heilman, Seo, Chacon, Wang, Claussen

WEll balanced lineup i like it

Rotation doesnt have a real ace but i use a similar strategy where i try to grab a bunch of quality arms like #3 guys and just match em up in the right places. I think you have the staff for that

Same with your closers, your only concern is if they dont perform well era and whip will suffer

I really like the lineup tho

I think you have done a very nice job drafting that team. Your offense from top to bottom is solid.

SPs are very clever. Patterson is pretty underrated and Haren looks for real. I also really like Young and Loaiza. Your closer strategy is solid as well.

I guess I would say look to trade Adam Dunn, his power isnt needed with the rest of your strong offense, and he will likely be able to land an ace with him. Besides, as you know, his BA will be a liability, and as of right now I think you will be above avg in terms of average, but certainly not leading your league, when you include Dunn, you couyld stuggle to be much higher than average in that cat.

Good job again, and good luck this season.
