1. Francoeur is better than Morneau

2. I would try trading Figgins for M. Giles and a SP

3. Too many mediocre closers. I am not a big fan of this.

i disagree I think that you have a solid team. how many in this league? a bunch of mediocre closers will usually equal a stud. more save ops.

I like your team, but I do think you need to upgrade your SPs.

I dont think you can trade Figgins steals away, it would leave you to weak in that catagory.

While your offense is clearly strong, your SPs are clearly weak. Schmidt is a pretty good #2 fantasy SP, but a very weak #1. Patterson on the other hand has looked amazing so far and will probably end up being your best SP. I really dont like Mulder - he's really only slightly above avg in Ws and ERA, but he's actually a liability in Ks and WHIP. Lowry could have a good yr - I like him. ESantana is a very risky pick because of his lack of experience - we see it every yr that the top SP prospects have up and down 1st yrs and rarely live up to the fantasy hype they generate - Santana will be good soon, but not soon enough to help much this yr. Escobar is a huge risk - last yr looked like a fluke yr and on top of that he should still be considered an injury risk.

I really like your closers a lot - great value there. Solid strategy to wait and not waste an early pick on an elite closer.

Overall, Id say you should try for a true ace to solidify your team. Maybe look to trade Helton - he will land you an elite SP and you are strong enough in the power cats that you wouldnt miss his bat too much.
