Roto 5X5 - Very Deep 18 Team League

Postby redn22 » Fri Mar 31, 2006 8:18 pm

18 team Standard 5X5 Roto (BA, R, RBI, HR, SB - ERA, W, S, K, WHIP)

This is the 2nd year of a 2 year keeper league... We were able to keep 6 players and I kept Soriano, Ichiro, Vladdy Guerrero, Roy Oswalt, CZambrano and Huston Street.

In this league we have to start 10 pitchers, so that means 180 pitchers minimum for the league... That leaves the free agency very thin... Relievers will play a huge part in this league...

Any comments or advice on where I can improve on would be appreciated! Thanks!

C - Joe Mauer (MIN)
1B - Shea Hillenbrand (TOR) - 1B/3B eligible
2B - Alfonso Soriano (WAS)

for an 18 team league you have a nice team, the only spot of concern is 3B. I dont see boone being of any value no matter how many teams are in the league.. Id scour the WW.. Boone wil hit below .255 hit less than 20 homers and probably give you around 50 RBI's and under 10 steals...Id take my chance on a sleeper before entering the season with him at your hot corner.
