Some people look at the team Gonzalez plays for and, based on that, ignore him. However, the idea that bad teams do not produce saves is a severe fallacy. As someone who frequents the Fantasy Baseball Cafe, I hope you have long abandoned that logic.
Todd Jones saved 40 with the Tigers last year, which made me a very happy Jones owner.
I'm always looking for solid gambles when it comes to closers. Did wind up with Mike G. in one league this year, so here's hoping that he's solid, and a heck of a bargain (worst case is he cost me a relatively low draft pick).
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

I think you mean the Marlins?
Ack! Yes, yes, you are most certainly correct. I was looking through my cheat sheets when I made that post and for some dumb reason I named his current team instead of last year's team. Doh! Good observation, and thanks for the correction.

I have him in practically every league and is why I don't pick closers in the top 10 rounds. Will there really be much of a difference in stats betwen Gonzo and BJ Ryan, or many of the other closers picked 10 rounds earlier, this year?
