first time doing BB...how'd I do?

Postby freshlesh » Fri Mar 31, 2006 9:11 am

5x5 H2H non-keeper league. I basically picked to get the best players available on the board. I'll start trading a few weeks in if I need to. What do you think? Oh yeah, 10 teams...I use this forum for football and it's been a great help (won two straight years in a BIG $$ league). Can I get some advice?

Solid team of SPs. Especially if Clemens plays.

Only thing is that I might pick up a backup SS b/c I believe Furcal got hurt, but not sure how badly. Other than that, I think you have a well balanced team with power and speed. Granted I've never played in a league with less than 12 teams.

Good call. I was thinking the same thing.

Hey, you're not of the New Jersey gilday's, are you?

Really, really solid team. The only weakness i see is in the bench players you have. But you won't need them barring injury...your lineup is top notch with the exception on batting average. Cabrera and Vlad will have to put up good numbers to help balance it out.

Maybe you could look for someone with good numbers for the bench. I know he's a risk, but Tony Clark put up great numbers last year and he seems to be available in a lot of leagues.
