I posted on this forum last fantasy season and have since lost my login info, so I'm not entirely new. Any advice on this team would be appreciated and I'll analyze yours!

I just realized that the roster includes 3 RP positions this year, changed from last year in my league, so I need to pick up another closer... any advice on that?
I'm going to be honest. For only having 10 teams, your team seems pretty weak. Can you post a list of free agents that are left. I think you could upgrade your team through that alone.
I would have to agree that the team looks a little weak for a 10 team league, you have A-Rod so I'm guessing you drafted 1st, so with the 20th pick I think you probably reached for your 2nd rounder....was it reyes or Pedro?
furthermore, im in a 10 team league and 4 of your starters are free agents in my league Gustavo Chachin, Jae Seo, Brandon McCarthy, Suppan...also with Holds not being a stat in your league Farnsworth holds zero value to your team. Check for Orvela or Borowski on the waiver wire, at least pick up some early season saves...if theyre both gone, drop farnsworth and pick up Joey devine and bank on him being the closer sooner rather than later in atlanta.
What's the deal with all the shortstops? Being honest I think you're going to have a tough time competing in this league, even though you have the best player.
Your pitching is atrocious. Maddux, Chacin, Seo, McCarthy and Suppan (notice I'm giving you Santana because I think highly of him) and then add Farnsworth from your releif corps, are guys that I personally don't see needing a place on a roster in a 10 team league. Look on the wire for guys like Burgos, MacDougal, Devine, Miceli, and Orvella to boost your relief pitching.
Post your roster requirements and a few of the notables on FA, there are bound to be some that need to replace some of the guys you have.

i agree, for a 10 team league your team should be much better plus there will be good FAs out there in a 10 team league. i dont think your hitting can keep up with the rest of the league. post some good FAs left.
you're right, i had first pick and then 2nd pick I picked Reyes because i'm a fan of him, then third pick I tried picking Chase Utley but my browser button stuck and it autodrafted next available according to Yahoo and it was Pedro.
anyways, heres a list of some free agents...
RP - m batista, mesa, looper, weathers, brazoban, kolb, dotel, lyon
SP - marquis, lidle, maroth, victor zambrano, ohka, tomko
i'm not an expert at fantasy but those are the top available according to yahoo.
Yeah, it definitely seems shaky, especially seeing as how there are quite a few gambles on your team. If everything breaks right though, who knows? You could definitely improve your staff by using the free agent pool. There definitely is better out there.
