Has anybody else heard anything about him only facing lefties?? It was just my theory since he sat out against Zambrano (a righty), had an awesome game against Rusch (a lefty), then he sat the next day against Snell (a righty). Any solid info on this??
All I know is that I start him and he never plays....but as soon as I bench him he explodes. He has like 5 SB's in 2 games. What are they doing? I am thinking of trying to trade Freel....I cant seem to guess when he is going to play. If you come up w/ a formula please advise me because I am frustrated.
Look at Yahoos boxscore like an hour before the game or MLB.com when it says warmup just click on gamechannel and it says. Do not trade Freel if he gets a full time job he could easily get 65+ steals. Yesterday when he stole third it wasn't even close.
So the question then is how long is Griffey out so we know that Freel we be starting? Also, if Griffey comes back will they keep rotating Freel and Womack? I mean Freel is batting .333 in 10 games with 9 walks and 6 stolen bases. Sounds like pretty good numbers for a lead off hitter (or for anyone for that matter), why the hell isn't he the everyday 2B???
