2001: Shoulder injury costs him 6 weeks ends season early.
2002: Strained left elbow limits him to 69 IP
2003: TJ surgery
2004: Returns from TJ, but ends season early in Sept.due to elbow pain and concerns about throwing too much after TJ
2005: knee injury
In short, Bedard has never stayed healthy enough to throw more than 141 IP in any professional season.
