Head to head - who should I trade?

What about moving Helton for Haren and Sabathia? Neither is a top-flight pitcher, but I like them both a lot for this year. Plus, in a H2H, it's always nice to have depth at SP.

I typically shy away from not getting the best player in any trade, but here I'm thinking I might come out ahead.

The other multi-player trade I was considering was offering Helton + Barrett for VMart + Hudson (or Mulder).

I wouldn't consider haren/sabathia for helton, helton is much more valuable. I think best way would be to email the owners with weaker 1b/util directly and stir up a conversation about potential trades. I find it to be the best way when I have an overload of position/stat that I want to unload quickly.

You will most likely have to package another hitter plus helton/hafner and overpay a little to get a top notch pitcher, and if I would you I would only take a tier 1 or 2 pitchers at this point. sheets/oswalt are also good alternatives to explore.

I would look to move Helton for either Carpenter and add a player, Harden, or Peavy. Tex is just unbelievably valuable these days that I don't see any pitchers worthy of his value.
