Has anyone heard if he's in the rotation or the pen?

Are we certain Floyd won't be the 4th, with Madson the 5th?

I read somewhere today that he's 4th & Floyd's 5th but I've been reading so much stuff lately I don't remember the source.

Madson going from possible BP to 4th starter with tons of starts is a huge upgrade in just a matter of a week or two.

Guess we'll see when they finally announce it, probably Sunday. I don't think it's that much of a stretch to go from BP to 4th starter - it's still the back of the rotation...

Don't be surprised to see madson back in the bullpen by May. Not because he has a rough start, but the bullpen may need help. The phillies have no one to get then to Gordon besides Arthur Rhodes.
If Floyd starts out good and the bullpen has trouble Madson will go there and Franklin will be the # 5 starter.

Read that Hamels might be up by May when the weather warms up and I'm sure he won't pitch in relief.
Yea Hamels could be brought up, but remember he hasn't pitched a full year in about 3 years because of injuries. I just don't think the Phillies will rush this guy.
