Need a closer, who should I pick up / or trade for?

Decent team for 13 teams

Look to upgrade middle infield. Personally I like Francoeur, better offense. Pitching is solid but how long will pettite last especially if Clemens isn't there. Offense is also lacking speed. Look to upgrade there.

any suggestions on who I should trade and who for? Any sleepers that could improve my speed w/out hurting me too much?

I don't think speed will be too much of a problem. You're not going to win SB but I don't think you'll finish last either. Between Lugo, A-Rod, Damon, and Holliday you should be middle of the road there. I don't think you'll be able to get too much value for speed this year as it seems to be very highly valued. I really like your pitching. Zambrano and Pettitte are both aces. Health is a slight concern with Pettitte but I wouldn't worry about that too much as of now. Contreras was hot at the end of last year and if he carries that over, you'll be set at SP. People are expecting big things from Cain this year. I like Weaver at the end of your rotation. RP looks weak. Gagne will be solid if healthy but he's the only guy getting you saves. I think Hermanson is starting the year on the DL and Cotts is ahead of him to backup Jenks. Linebrink is a solid guy for WHIP, ERA, a few W's and a few Saves. I definitely think you need another closer to be able to compete there. As far as your 3rd OF position goes, I'd probably slot Francoeur in there for now, but be flexible.

Do you know if K. Wood will keep his RP status when he comes back? If so, do you think I still need to upgrade that position?

ride match ups for your third outfield spot between gibbons, hermida and francoeur. You could probably use the power of gibbons and francoeur over the balance of hermida.

Use your outfield depth to get a closer/second basemen. All in all it looks like you are definitely a contender.

No idea about McCann, you should just play the hot hand at #3 OF. You need at least one more closer.
