I would keep your team the way it is. Loretta isn't the best 2B but he is certainly a solid option. Lugo is good. your pitching is good.

Overall, solid team. I do agree however that your bench is pretty weak. you could do well to pick up a good OF who is available because who knows how Jim Edmonds will do injury wise and even what numbers he will put up. I'd like to have some insurance personally.

I am probably going to keep things the way they are at least for now. I agree Edmonds could be a health problem, though the latest reports say the elbow injury is not serious. I have Hermida and am banking on a solid season even though he is young and on a weak Marlins team. If Edmonds goes down, I could always slide Hermida into the outfield spot and start Nevin/ Hilenbrand in that utility position.

Is there no better option than Nevin on the WW though?

There isn't much, and I want to give it a bit of time to see what he can do. Chances are he'll flop with his history of injuries, but I feel like he's worth hanging onto at least to begin the season and see what he does with that lineup.

Another topic - someone had an autodraft team and ended up with Wood, Prior and Clemens. Wood and Prior are DL eligible, though you can't pick them up directly to the DL spot. So I am trying to drop Blatnon and pick up either then immediately drop them to the DL and pick up another pitcher (Blanton again, if possible).

Do you think it's worth it to try for Prior or Wood? I haev a feeling Prior will come back and post decent numbers once he's (hopefully) healthy.

I managed to nab Chris Shelton off of the waiver wire (don't know how everyone missed him) and dropped Wickman for Chris Ray.

Comments? I feel pretty good about this team so far - Young had a good game yesterday. Suggestions on where to upgrade early in the season? Do you guys think Shelton is for real?
