Take me for example, I am a seasoned veteran on forums and in fantasy leagues, i'm a mod at one forum and a very active member at several others. I also spend alot of time on my fantasy teams. I have only been a member for two days and already have about 30 posts.
I agree to some extent. It's great that you're active and helping contribute to the forum. But being one of the artists that have made sigs for people who have hardly any posts and to see them just go to waste it's kind of disappointing. I had one of my favorite sigs made for someone about 2 months ago and he still is sitting with 15 posts

. Also, there should be something about the sig request itself. As far as we only have 12k and some people are asking for 5+ people. I usually try to pounce on the ones where people are asking for 1 person or two from the same team because it's easier to blend, hence easier to keep under 12k. Trying to keep the request easy is the best way but some unique ideas are fun to do too. I'm not saying there should be a guideline to how many posts are needed to request a sig(as far as I'm concerned post counts are kind of silly, more about quality not quantity). I understand it's a new season and there's a lot of new people that found this place in time for their season this year. I think we as artists just need reassurance that the requester is going to stick around.
Now as far as the sticky, I'm not so sure this would get it, just because it's a rant, but if we talked to Arlo/Madison and put together a solid post about requesting sigs, I'm sure they'd be more than glad to put one up there.
